With 185+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and ocean sunfish (mola mola) - SUSTAIN offers some of South Coast's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 9-15°C, warmest July, August, September.
The *Sustain* sits upright at 15 metres, a fishing vessel about 23 metres long, making it a good, easy wreck dive off Ireland's South Coast. She's broken up a bit around the stern, but you can still make out her wheelhouse and much of the superstructure. We’ve found conger eels tucked into various nooks, and often spot lobsters scuttling across the deck. For divers keen on exploring a proper wreck without deep depths or strong currents, it’s a solid choice, and the marine growth gives it real character.
