W.H.S.A.C. Rescue Centre - South Coast

The W.H.S.A.C. Rescue Centre site on Ireland’s South Coast is a pretty convenient entry point, usually calm enough for a relaxed dive. We’ve found decent visibility here on a good day, particularly in the later morning. It's mostly a sandy bottom, but you’ll spot a surprising number of common gobies darting about and plenty of blue mussels clinging to any available rock. Keep an eye out for triggerfish, they're not always around, but we've seen them pass through. This spot works well for a casual dive when you just want to get wet without much fuss.
