OGANO - West Coast

We find Ogano a surprisingly engaging wreck, given its somewhat unceremonious end. This old trawler, scuttled deliberately after a stint laid up, now rests upright at 43 metres. It’s a proper dive for those who appreciate wrecks as artificial reefs, with plenty of nooks and crannies for conger eels and squat lobsters to hide in. Visibility can swing, but when it’s good, the light plays nicely off the wheelhouse and deck structures, making it a solid pick for a deeper wreck exploration.
