The moment you drop in, you’re enveloped in that classic Pacific Northwest green, a rich, nutrient-dense soup that makes you feel like you’re diving into a different world. It’s not about blazing colours here; it’s about the sheer density of life, the subtle hues, and the unexpected encounters. We’ve had some cracking dives here, navigating through kelp forests so thick they feel like underwater mazes. Our favourite moments are always when the light shafts punch through the canopy, illuminating swarms of Pacific Glass Shrimp. Keep an eye out for the Spotted Ratfish, those quirky bottom-dwellers are often tucked away in crevices, and the Slender Crabs are everywhere, scuttling amongst the rocks. You’ll also find Dungeness Crabs doing their thing, slow and steady. We'd suggest focusing on the shallower sections if you want the best light and less surge. It's an excellent spot for divers who appreciate the subtle beauty of temperate waters and don't mind a bit of a current push now and then.
