The SS Laurentic, an old ocean liner sunk in 1927, rests off Ireland’s West Coast. Diving this wreck isn't about deep reefs or pelagics; it's about history and the surprising amount of life that now calls her home. We've often found conger eels lurking in the deeper compartments, and schools of pollock flit through the skeletal superstructure. It’s a site for those who appreciate the quiet drama of a historical wreck, where rust and time have created new habitats, rather than pristine coral gardens. The currents here can be a bit frisky, so we'd suggest this one for experienced wreck divers.

Wreck site - avoid penetration without wreck diving certification. Watch for sharp metal and entanglement hazards.
