Our favourite part about diving with 7 Perle is their local knowledge. They know precisely when the light hits the Gorgonian corals just right at Cristo degli Abissi, making the bronze statue glow with an almost ethereal quality. We’d suggest an early morning dive there, before the boats arrive, when the schools of damselfish are still sleepy. Visibility here can sometimes be a bit moody, especially after heavy rain, but even on those days, the sheer volume of macro life, nudibranchs on the walls, and the occasional inquisitive octopus makes it worthwhile. Plus, they’re excellent at navigating the sometimes-tricky currents around Punta Chiappa, ensuring you get a relaxed drift past the vibrant red sea fans.
