With 70+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, humpback whales, mobula rays (devil rays) and oceanic whitetip sharks - Fortullino offers some of Portofino & Liguria's richest diving. Water ranges 14-27°C, warmest July, August, September.
Fortullino, just outside Portofino, is a straightforward shallow dive, perfect for beginners or those getting back in the water. Dropping to a maximum of 12 meters, you'll find rocky seabeds with scattered patches of seagrass. We've often spotted small bream, wrasse, and the occasional octopus tucked into crevices here. It’s a gentle introduction to Ligurian diving, usually with calm conditions.
