Atlantis Diving Centre - Comino
The team at Atlantis Diving Centre are exactly the kind of people you want looking after you on a dive trip. They’re based right on the edge of the water in Xatt l-Aħmar, which we love because it makes getting out to the boat incredibly simple. For anyone serious about progressing their diving, Atlantis is a fantastic option. They offer everything from PADI Bubble Maker courses for kids all the way up to IDC Instructor training, along with BSAC, VDST, and TDI technical courses. We especially like Atlantis for their emphasis on technical diving and freediving. It's not often you find such a robust offering under one roof. Our favourite dives with them usually involve a trip out to the Comino caves, where the light plays off the walls in incredible ways, or the P31 patrol boat wreck. The visibility around Comino can easily hit 30 metres on a good day, and the lack of strong currents makes for relaxed dives, even for those getting into sidemount or Tec Rec. They're also brilliant at catering to independent divers looking for guided trips rather than full courses, which is a big plus if you're already certified and just want to explore.
