Dive Systems - Comino

Dive Systems, just off Comino, is one of those Mediterranean sites that always delivers. We love drifting along the wall here, which typically drops to around 20 metres before levelling out to a sandy bottom. The light plays beautifully through the water, illuminating patches of scarlet coral and the occasional sea horse tucked into crevices. You'll often spot common cuttlefish hovering, perfectly camouflaged, and we've had some fantastic encounters with butterfly blennies putting on quite a show. It’s a great spot for newer divers looking for a relaxed wall dive, but also offers plenty of macro photography opportunities for those who like to take it slow. Our favourite part is toward the small cave entrance, where you can feel the slight temperature change as you approach, a cool breath from within. Look closely at the rocks; we often find wrinkled swimming crabs scuttling about, and the coralline bryozoans are always a treat. For a truly peaceful dive, try to go early in the morning before the boat traffic picks up. Visibility averages 15-20 metres, offering clear views of the wrasse and soldier fish patrolling the reef.
