ST MICHAEL - Comino

Drop down onto the St Michael, a tugboat scuttled back in 1998, sitting upright at 21 metres. It’s not a huge wreck, just over 20 metres long, but it’s definitely one we like for its character. You can poke around the wheelhouse, check out the engine room if you’re comfortable with a bit of penetration, and generally just enjoy how the Mediterranean has started to reclaim it. We’ve seen octopuses tucked into crevices, plenty of moray eels peering out from the darker spots, and schools of damselfish flitting around the mast. It's a relaxed dive, good for newer wreck divers or those looking for a second dive in the area.
