TUG 2 - Comino

Tug 2, just off Comino, is a straightforward dive, and a good one for shaking off the dust. This 30-meter tugboat, scuttled as an artificial reef, sits upright on a sandy bottom at 14 meters. We found it a relaxed place to practice buoyancy and get a feel for a wreck without any real challenges. The mast was removed before it went down, so it's quite open, with plenty of entry points if you’re keen to poke around inside – just watch for silt. Over time, sea urchins, small schooling fish, and even an octopus or two have moved in, making it a decent spot for a macro lens or simply observing the slow reclamation by the Mediterranean. It’s perfect for newer wreck divers or those looking for a chilled-out second dive.
