The Taranto wreck sits upright at 40 metres, a well-preserved Italian cargo ship torpedoed in 1943. We find the hold accessible to advanced divers, where light filters through, illuminating scattered amphorae and old ceramics. It’s a quiet dive, the wreck now home to conger eels and scorpionfish, ideal for those interested in maritime history and a deeper exploration.
