They’re PADI 5 Star IDC Resort, which tells you they’re serious about training, but what we really love is how they introduce divers to the lesser-known wonders of Morocco’s Mediterranean coast. This isn't your typical Red Sea reef-hopping; it's a chance to explore a different kind of underwater landscape, often with an air of discovery. You’d choose them if you're keen on seeing Morocco's coastal secrets – think dramatic rock formations, ancient wrecks that hint at old trade routes, and a surprisingly robust population of groupers and moray eels tucked into crevices. We’ve had dives where the visibility hovered around 15 metres, giving the wrecks a wonderfully eerie, atmospheric feel, then surfaces to find the sun glittering off calm, sapphire water. Our favourite tip? Ask them about the best spots for nudibranchs; we’ve found some truly spectacular colours there, especially in spring. They’re particularly good for divers looking to progress their skills, given their IDC status, but even experienced divers will appreciate the chance to explore somewhere truly off the beaten path.
