TARA E - Al Hoceima

The Tara E offers a good poke around a classic Mediterranean wreck. This old motor vessel, sunk in 1977 after a collision, lies upright at a comfortable 15 meters, making it accessible for most divers. We’ve found the stern section, in particular, offers some nice swim-throughs into the cargo holds, where the light plays through gaps in the decaying hull. Look closely and you’ll spot a good variety of nudibranchs clinging to the metalwork, alongside schools of damselfish that dart in and out of the shadows. It’s a solid dive for those looking for a relaxed wreck exploration, without any challenging currents or deep sections.
