Saltstraumen - Lofoten Islands

Saltstraumen is pure drift diving, plain and simple. We’re talking about a serious current here, one of the strongest tidal currents in the world, so it's best for experienced divers comfortable moving with the flow. You’ll find yourself swept past kelp forests and rocky walls, with the chance to spot cod, pollock, and plenty of other North Atlantic fish making their way through the maelstrom. It’s an exhilarating ride, but certainly not for the faint of heart or those new to drift diving.
