STELLA ORION - Lofoten Islands

The Stella Orion, a trawler sunk back in 1955, lies in a sheltered bay in Lofoten, making for a surprisingly accessible wreck dive. She’s shallow, sitting at just 10 metres, so you get plenty of bottom time to really take in the details. You can swim around her superstructure, noticing how the cold water has preserved much of the original form, but also how the local anemones and various small crabs have made her their home. It's a great spot for newer wreck divers looking to get a feel for overhead environments in a safe, shallow setting.
