With 189+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, mobula rays (devil rays), ocean sunfish (mola mola), octopuses and sea turtles - La Llosa offers some of Cabo de Palos's richest reef diving. Water ranges 15-28°C, warmest July, August, September.
La Llosa, just off Cabo de Palos, offers a good Mediterranean dive. The site is an exposed pinnacle, creating varied currents that attract schooling barracuda and plenty of dentex. It’s a solid choice for experienced divers comfortable with drift diving, especially when the current picks up.
