Anfiteatro
Protected Area
Fuerteventura
Why dive here
With 76+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, octopuses, sea turtles, sperm whales and cuttlefish - Anfiteatro offers some of Canary Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 19-24°C, warmest August, September, October.
Anfiteatro, or "Amphitheater," offers a straightforward dive down to 20 meters. It’s a good spot for newer divers to get comfortable, with easy conditions and typically calm seas. You’ll find a sandy bottom with some scattered rocks, home to various small reef fish and sometimes an octopus or cuttlefish. We'd suggest it as a relaxed second dive or a training location.
