Digger (Sueño Azul) - Canary Islands

The Digger, or Sueño Azul, makes for a relaxed introduction to diving in the Canaries. Dropping to a gentle 19 metres, it's a popular spot for getting comfortable in the water, especially for those new to the game. You'll often find groups here practicing buoyancy, drifting past the sandy bottom and the small rock formations that provide cover for blennies and gobies. It’s a site for seeing the smaller stuff, so take your time and look closely for octopus camouflaged against the rocks. We often recommend it as a solid second dive, a chance to unwind after something more demanding.
