With 76+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, octopuses, sea turtles, sperm whales and cuttlefish - Faro del Lobos offers some of Canary Islands's richest wall diving. Water ranges 20-24°C, warmest August, September, October.
Faro del Lobos sits off the coast, a good intermediate dive to around 29 metres. It’s mostly volcanic rock formations down there, which means plenty of nooks and crannies for trumpetfish and moray eels. We often see schools of barracuda cruising past, especially in the deeper sections. It’s a solid dive for those who appreciate the unique Canarian underwater topography.
