Hafenmauer - Canary Islands

Hafenmauer, or "Harbor Wall," gives you exactly that – a dive along a solid concrete wall dropping into the Atlantic. We’ve found it’s a pretty reliable spot when the bigger waves kick up elsewhere. You’ll see European fan-worms waving from the cracks, and we often spot Dusky groupers peering out from under ledges. Look closely for smaller stuff, like the little post horn squid, or a Mediterranean beadlet anemone tucked away. It’s a good, easy dive, perfect if you’re looking for a relaxed exploration rather than dramatic topography, and the Spiny butterfly rays often glide past in the sandy patches at the base.
