Veril Blanco Gran Tarajal - Canary Islands
Veril Blanco Gran Tarajal is a solid pick if you’re looking for a relaxed dive in the Canaries, especially if you’re newer to the sport or just want to shake off some rust. It’s a shallow site, topping out at 12 metres, which means plenty of bottom time and lots of light for enjoying the local residents. We’ve had some really chilled dives here, watching cuttlefish doing their camouflage dance and even spotting a cheeky octopus or two tucked into the rocks. It’s not a thrill-a-minute kind of place, but for an easy, pleasant dive with reliable visibility, it definitely ticks the box.
