With 44+ marine species recorded in the area - including dolphins, ocean sunfish (mola mola) and sea turtles - PEDRO offers some of Costa Brava's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 13-25°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Pedro wreck in Costa Brava sits in surprisingly shallow water, making it a great spot for an easy dive. It’s a schooner, and you can still make out the masts, which is always a neat feature on a wreck. Because it's so close to the surface, light penetration is excellent, illuminating the parts where small schools of damselfish often congregate. You’ll also likely find nudibranchs clinging to the metalwork. It’s a calm dive, ideal for those looking to potter around a wreck without deep decompression worries, and a good one for photographers wanting to play with natural light.
