L'Escale

L'Escale in the Medes Islands often gets overlooked for the flashier neighbours, but it’s a solid dive, especially if the usual spots are a bit crowded. We usually find ourselves exploring a series of rocky outcrops and ledges here. You’ll spot plenty of Mediterranean tapeweed swaying in the gentle surge, and it’s a good place to slow down and watch for smaller critters like sand masons peeking from their tubes or the occasional cowfish browsing amongst the rocks. It’s an easygoing dive, probably best for those who appreciate a relaxed pace and aren't chasing big pelagics.
