With 77+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, ocean sunfish (mola mola), octopuses and sea turtles - SANCTA NELLA offers some of Medes Islands's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 14-24°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Sancta Nella wreck sits upright in 15 metres, a former trawler now a home for moray eels and lobsters. Its wheelhouse is gone, but the hull is largely intact, offering easy penetration for those with the right training. We often find schools of damselfish flitting through the superstructure. It's a straightforward wreck dive, perfect for divers looking to spend some time exploring a well-preserved piece of history.
