RUSTON - Baltic Coast
The Ruston is a proper Baltic wreck, resting at 50 metres, which means this one is for the experienced technical diver. She went down in 1970, a tug carrying peat, and now sits upright, mostly intact. We found her wheelhouse a good starting point, and you can explore the engine room if your skills are sharp and your gas planning is meticulous. Expect to see plenty of Baltic blennies peeking from crevices, and the low light gives the whole dive a moody, introspective feel. It’s a rewarding dive for those who appreciate history and the unique challenge of deep wreck diving.
