The Berny, a motor vessel that went down in 1961 after a collision, rests at 50 metres, a deep dive for sure but a rewarding one. We’ve found her to be quite intact, offering some interesting penetration opportunities if you’re experienced and properly equipped. The wreck itself has become home to a variety of creatures, with plenty of small fish darting in and out of the superstructure, and we’ve often spotted larger cod lurking in the deeper holds. It’s a challenging dive, best suited for advanced divers comfortable with depth and colder Scandinavian waters, but the historical feel of the Berny makes it worth the effort.
