LACHO - West Coast (Gothenburg)
The Lacho wreck, a fishing vessel resting at 38 meters, offers a fascinating dive for those comfortable with deeper exploration off Gothenburg. She sits upright, largely intact, which always makes for a more compelling dive than a scattered debris field. We’ve found her wheelhouse particularly interesting, often sheltering schools of pollock, while the deck structures provide plenty of nooks and crannies for crabs and lobsters to hide away. It’s a good one for photographers looking to capture the moody atmosphere of a northern wreck, especially on a day with decent visibility. Just remember your drysuit – it’s Sweden, after all.
