MARIE - West Coast (Gothenburg)
The Marie is a lovely old cutter, resting upright at 30 metres just off the coast near Gothenburg. Dropping down, you’ll find her mostly intact, with the mast still standing proudly, often adorned with a wispy curtain of kelp swaying in the gentle surge. We’ve always found it a calm dive, a chance to really slow down and appreciate the details – the bow, the stern, and a small, accessible hold that’s home to a surprising number of wrasse and blennies. It’s a superb spot for those looking to experience a proper wreck without the strong currents or extreme depths you often find elsewhere in the region.
