SIGRID - West Coast (Gothenburg)
The Sigrid, a fishing vessel that went down in 1946, sits upright on the seabed at 39 metres, making for a solid technical dive. We’ve found her to be largely intact, with the superstructure offering plenty to explore for those comfortable with overhead environments. Expect to see the usual suspects for this part of the Kattegat: cod, ling, and decent-sized pollock often cruise around the decks. Visibility can be a bit variable, as it often is on the Swedish west coast, so picking a day with settled weather makes a real difference here. She’s a proper wreck dive, best for experienced divers looking for a good penetration.
