SIVAL - West Coast (Gothenburg)
SIVAL is a favourite wreck dive along the West Coast, sitting at a comfortable 8 metres. She’s a motor vessel that went down in a gale back in ‘77, pretty exposed just south of Gothenburg. These days, she’s well broken up, but you can still pick out the bow and stern sections, especially the propeller shaft. We like exploring the engine room, which is often full of small cod and wrasse. Given the shallow depth, it’s a good spot for newer wreck divers or anyone looking for a relaxed bimble, but keep an eye on the weather – it can get choppy here.
