TEX - West Coast (Gothenburg)
The TEX wreck, sitting at just 11 meters, makes for a really accessible dive on Sweden’s West Coast. She’s a fishing vessel, now well-colonised by the local marine life, offering a good spot for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed single tank. We find the deckhouse and parts of the hull still fairly intact, providing some interesting swim-throughs and plenty of nooks for crabs and small gobies to hide. Given the shallower depth, you get good bottom time, which is perfect for just exploring the structure and watching the local critters go about their business. Visibility can vary, but on a good day, it’s a solid option for a chilled dive near Gothenburg.
