With 176+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and ocean sunfish (mola mola) - ALICE offers some of Cornwall & Devon's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 10-18°C, warmest July, August, September.
The ALICE, a steamship sunk in 1916 by bombs, rests at 48 metres, making it a dive for experienced wreck enthusiasts. We’ve found her to be a substantial wreck, at over 70 metres long, with good structural integrity. You’ll spend your time exploring the collapsed holds and superstructure, often encountering conger eels tucked into crevices and schools of pollack circling the mast. It's a sombre, rewarding dive for those comfortable with deeper profiles and the generally cooler, lower visibility conditions of UK waters.

Maximum depth 48m exceeds recreational limits (40m). Technical diving certification and equipment required.
