With 176+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and ocean sunfish (mola mola) - BELLA offers some of Cornwall & Devon's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 10-18°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Bella, a survey vessel, sits at a shallow six metres, making it an easy dive for anyone getting their fins wet in UK waters. While it’s officially classed as a dangerous wreck, we’ve always found it more intriguing than truly threatening – just respect the environment, as with any wreck. We usually find crabs tucked into crevices and smaller fish darting in and out of the structure. It’s not a massive wreck, but it offers enough to explore for a relaxed hour underwater, a good choice if you’re looking for something gentle to start your Cornish diving adventure.
