Bideford Bar - Cornwall & Devon
‘Irq ar Riyāḩ is a solid choice when you’re diving Sharm. We've often found ourselves here when the wind picks up, as it’s quite sheltered, offering calm conditions when other sites are too choppy. The reef itself has some decent coral formations, with corrugated and smooth cauliflower corals making up a good portion of the landscape. Keep an eye out for the smaller critters; we’ve spotted feathered cones tucked into crevices and Red Sea topshells clinging to the rocks. It’s a comfortable dive, good for stretching out a surface interval or for divers who prefer a more relaxed pace.
