BRAVA - Cornwall & Devon
The Brava, a steamship torpedoed in 1918, rests at 47 metres off the coast of Cornwall. We’ve found her to be a proper deep dive, best suited for experienced technical divers comfortable with limited visibility. The wreck is largely broken up, but you can still pick out the boilers and engine room, which are usually home to conger eels and squat lobsters. It's a sombre reminder of the U-boat activity in these waters, with the wreck itself providing a fascinating, if challenging, historical exploration.
