The Charming Betty isn't your intact, swim-through wreck experience. Forget grand structures; this site is about the history you can feel in the scattered timbers and the life they now support. What we really love here is the sense of discovery, sifting through the remains of an 18th-century vessel, imagining the storm that drove her ashore. You'll spend your dive poking around the seafloor, finding iron bolts, wooden fragments, and ceramic shards, all encrusted with colourful jewel anemones and sponges. It’s a photographer's dream for macro shots and capturing the moody atmosphere of a wreck slowly reclaimed by the sea. This site suits divers who appreciate historical context and the smaller, quieter beauty of marine life adapting to human remnants.
