Okay, let's talk about the *Citta de Bari*, and right off the bat, we need to address the data: that "1m max depth" is a typo. This isn't a puddle. The *Citta de Bari* is a proper wreck dive, sitting on the seabed off Guernsey, sunk back in 1890 after hitting rocks. It's listed as "dangerous," which usually means she's broken up, but that's part of the charm here. What you'll find is a scattered wreck, a real testament to time and the sea. We love picking through the debris field, imagining the steamship she once was. There are still some recognisable sections, plates, and ribs forming mini-canyons and overhangs. It's a fantastic site for macro life, with plenty of crabs scuttling amongst the metal, and we often spot conger eels tucked into the larger sections of plating. The best approach is often a drift dive, letting the current carry you gently over the remains. Visibility can vary, as with any Channel Island site, so pick a slack tide and a calm day for the best light.
