    StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

CUO, off the coast of Cornwall, is less a wreck dive and more a historical footnote you can fin over. Sunk back in 1847, what’s left is scattered debris in incredibly shallow water, maxing out around 2 meters. We find it’s a good spot for a relaxed snorkel or a very, very shallow dive if you’re into the detective work of identifying old timber and metal. Don’t expect a defined structure; it’s more about the history and whatever local fish, like blennies or crabs, have decided to call the fragments home. Definitely one for those who appreciate maritime history over dramatic swim-throughs.
