DORA - Cornwall & Devon
The Dora, resting off Grosnez Point, Jersey, is a proper old girl, sunk back in 1893. We typically find her well-broken now, a scattered footprint of her former self, but it's exactly that jumble of frames and plates that makes her interesting. It’s a pick-your-own adventure as you navigate the debris field; look closely among the twisted metal for conger eels tucked into crevices, and we often spot spider crabs clambering over the structure. This site works for divers who appreciate history and enjoy a good rummage, a classic Channel Islands wreck dive.
