ENDEAVOUR - Cornwall & Devon
The Endeavour, a fishing vessel that went down in 1989, rests at a very accessible 8 metres. She’s not massive, just over 10 metres long, but what she lacks in size, she makes up for in character, particularly for newer wreck divers or those looking for a relaxed bimble. We often find pollack drifting through her skeletal remains and plenty of crabs tucked into any crevice they can find. It’s a great spot to practice wreck penetration in a low-risk environment, as the light is always nearby. For photographers, the ambient light at this depth makes for some moody shots.
