F 614 - Cornwall & Devon
The F 614, a factory ship sunk while under tow in 1944, sits upright at 35 metres. This 61-metre wreck is well-broken but still recognisable, with parts of its superstructure and hull providing shelter for conger eels and squat lobsters. We usually find decent visibility here, though the depth means you’ll want to watch your bottom time. It's a solid dive for experienced wreck enthusiasts looking for a piece of wartime history off the Cornish coast, often swarming with small schools of pollack. Just remember, it’s classified as a dangerous wreck, so penetration isn't really an option.
