FINK - Cornwall & Devon
The FINK, a steamship that went down in a storm back in 1944, sits at a very manageable 14 meters off the Cornwall & Devon coast. It’s a good one for newer wreck divers or when you’re looking for a relaxed bimble rather than a deep penetration dive. What you'll find is a very broken-up wreck, more of a debris field really, but it's completely encrusted with anemones and dead man’s fingers. Look closely among the metal plates and you’ll often spot crabs, lobsters, and plenty of blennies darting around. We’d suggest going at slack tide, as the currents here can pick up a bit, making it harder to appreciate the smaller details.
