FINN - Cornwall & Devon
The *Finn* is a big old steamship, torpedoed in 1916 by a German U-boat. She’s a decent sized wreck at 105 metres long, lying deep at 57 metres, so this one's for the technical crowd. We’ve found her fairly broken up in places, but you can still make out the triple expansion engine and some boilers. The interesting part is how much she’s become part of the seabed; we’ve seen conger eels poking out from plates and schools of pollock hanging above the main structure, using the bulk of the wreck as shelter from the currents. It’s a proper historical dive.
