FLORA - Cornwall & Devon
The Flora, a sailing vessel sunk by a U-boat in 1918, lies broken but still intriguing at 24 metres. We found her quite scattered, with timber ribs and plating spread across the seabed, but you can still make out the general shape of her hull. Schools of pollock often hang around the larger sections, and we’ve spotted dogfish tucked into the sand nearby. It’s a good poke around for divers keen on maritime history and those who enjoy a more natural, colonised wreck. Not one for penetration, but a solid dive for an hour.
