HMS REMINDO (POSSIBLY) - Cornwall & Devon

The HMS Remindo, or what we strongly suspect is her, sits deep off the Cornish coast, a proper dive for anyone serious about UK wreck exploration. Dropping onto her at 48 metres, you immediately feel the history. This isn't some scattered debris field; she’s a trawler, built in 1917 and gone by 1918, a testament to the brief, dangerous life of these vessels during wartime. Our favourite part is her intact structure. You can trace her lines, picturing her working life before the unknown event that sent her down. We've often found conger eels tucked into her nooks, and the occasional anglerfish perfectly camouflaged on her decks. Visibility can be challenging here, as is typical for the English Channel, so picking a slack tide and a calm weather window is key. We’d suggest this one for experienced cold water divers comfortable with depth and navigating in lower vis. It's a proper adventure, a real piece of maritime history waiting in the deep.
