Why dive here
With 176+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and ocean sunfish (mola mola) - HODD offers some of Cornwall & Devon's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 10-18°C, warmest July, August, September.
The HODD wreck sits at 19 metres off the Cornwall coast. It’s classified as dangerous, so while you can get a good poke around the remains, we'd suggest approaching with caution and good training. What's left of the structure provides shelter for various fish and crabs, making for a solid wreck dive for those comfortable with deeper, silty conditions.
