Lake Edon - Cornwall & Devon
Lake Edon, tucked away in Cornwall, isn't your typical UK dive. It’s a flooded quarry, reaching a decent 38 metres, making it a good spot for some deeper training or just getting your buoyancy dialled in without the fuss of tides. The visibility varies, as it always does in these inland sites, but on a good day, you can make out the training platforms and the odd submerged tree quite clearly. We find it’s a solid choice for intermediate divers looking for a controlled environment to practise skills, or for those shaking off the rust after a break. Don't expect tropical colours, but it’s an honest, useful dive.
