With 176+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and ocean sunfish (mola mola) - NEREE offers some of Cornwall & Devon's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 10-18°C, warmest July, August, September.
The Neree, a 90-meter cargo ship sunk in 1965, offers a substantial wreck dive off the coast of Cornwall. Sitting upright at 53 meters, she's a dive for those comfortable with deeper profiles and the often-chilly UK waters. We’ve found her to be well-colonised by plumose anemones, particularly around the superstructure, and you'll usually spot conger eels in the deeper holds. Penetration is possible for experienced wreck divers, though we’d always recommend proper training and equipment for overhead environments. It’s a good technical dive, a proper piece of history down there.
