OWEN - Cornwall & Devon
Diving the Owen, you're dropping onto a timber trawler, sitting upright on a sandy seabed at 43 metres. She’s remarkably intact for a wooden wreck, her hull planks still holding form, which is always a pleasant surprise. We’ve found her to be a great spot for those calm, deep dives where you want to take your time exploring the nooks and crannies. Look out for conger eels tucked into her deeper sections and some sizable lobsters making themselves at home in the broken stern. It's a dive for advanced divers comfortable with depth, offering a real sense of history.
